i’ve heard varying opinions on the "color vs. b/w headshots" debate, and this is just one more. on the TVI page that president Alan Nusbaum writes, he spoke with a casting director in LA that states "the majority of actors headshots that actors now use in the commercial marketplace are color" (emphasis mine). my agent in St. Louis is pushing me for color shots, but the agents i spoke with in NY don’t seem to give no nevermind.
so the verdict is still out, but it’s safe to say that in LA, if you’re doing commercials, you might get the color shots…
